John Quinton – Head Groundsman

John has worked for the Parish Council since June 1997. He is married to Theresa and has two children.

Due to John’s dedication he was promoted to Head Groundsman in 2005. John is responsible for the maintenance of the council’s facilities and open spaces which include the Playing field, Cemetery and St. Mary’s closed churchyard

Gay Sealey – Bookings Clerk

Gay has been employed in the post of Booking Clerk since April 2004. Gay lives in Welwyn Garden City, is married to Pete and has two children. Gay works in the Council Office at Lockleys Drive, Welwyn.

Gay’s duties are the administration of bookings for the Parish Centre, Civic Centre, White Hill Centre and Pavilion.

Jayne Wittick - Civic Centre Caretaker

Jayne started work for the Council as a Cleaner in May 2006.

She became Caretaker of the Civic Centre in December 2011.

Jayne is married to Anthony and has two children

Sue Harrop - Cleaner

Sue worked as a contract cleaner for several years for the Parish Council before becoming permanently employed in June 2006. Sue lives in Welwyn Village.

Sue works cleaning the Pavilion and the White Hill Centre at Ottway Walk, Welwyn

John Lewis – Office Administrator

John was originally employed on a casual basis but has been permanently employed by the Parish Council since January 2007. John works at the Council Office in Lockleys Drive, Welwyn. John lives in Welwyn Village and is married to Ellie and has two children.

John has a variety of duties which include the administration of Allotment Plots at Lockleys Drive/Orchard Road and the Cemetery off Kimpton Drive, Welwyn.
